Sunday, November 5th ~ We are so sorry to have to do this, but today's event has been CANCELLED due to inclement weather.
Stay tuned...we hope to see you in the spring!!!
This was to be the last event of the year at The Stage. We've had such good times at these concerts, and are excited to see what God has planned for 2007!!!
At the beginning of this year, Mom came up with the idea to build a stage on our place to provide a venue for bands traveling through, and also to provide wholesome, God-honoring entertainment to our community. On March 25th, 2006, Second Wind did the first concert on "The Stage". In spite of the chilliness, the evening was fantastic. Thanks to the Thompson family for a fun time of exceptional music and thanks to all of you who came out to support this great family band. We've since had the Bost Family Traditions from Arizona, The Naylor Family Band (imagine that!!!!), the Starks Family from El Reno, and the Gaskill Family from Nebraska/Oklahoma or somewhere in between. Then we had a talent night that featured the clear sweet voices and beautiful harmony of the Conaway Sisters, a few of Jim Garling's wonderful cowboy songs, the Gaskill's great bluegrass, Rusty Vineyard with his fantastic voice and guitar playing, Debbie and Heidi's special clarinet and piano duets, Nich's amazing "Cheese and Crackers" on classical guitar, and even two sisters playing fiddles all the way from Connecticut!!! It was great!!! Next came the Triple L Band - thoroughly enjoyed by all!!! The MacDonald Family Singers couldn't make September 29th's concert, but the Russell Family did an amazing job filling in for them as they shared some Celtic fiddle pieces, a few bluegrass tunes, and some original songs. We had a great time finishing out the evening - grateful for the perfect weather that evening!!! FOXFIRE BLUEGRASS from New Mexico were a lot of fun to have for the month of September...the evening was a bit chilly, but nice. Please visit our Picture Page for photos from past concerts by clicking here, and if you would like to share photos you've taken of these events, please email them to Jeremy by clicking here.
These concerts are free!!! We want to continue these events, and make them available to anyone who can come, so there will be donations accepted to help cover expenses for the band. Please bring chairs or blankets for yourself. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be canceled. Check back for updated information. Please call us at 282-0962 or email us to sign up on our mailing list or for any questions you may have. Hope to see you there!!! The Naylors The Naylor family is not responsible for any accident or injury incurred while you are on our premises. In other words, attend at your own risk! |
